Belarusians should speak Belarusian more, Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makey told journalists in Prague during the festivities dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Frantsishak Skaryna’s publishing the Bible.

“Everything depends on a person. If we are Belarusian, if we realize that there will be no country without the language can not be the country, the language will live and the country will develop. But nothing should be done artificially, it should come from the soul, from the heart. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is trying to contribute to the development of the Belarusian language.
