Belarusians receive less money from abroad

According to statistics published by the National Bank of Belarus on remittances in the past in 2018, about 326.04 million dollars were transferred into our country with the help of the international banking system.

At the same time in 2017, Belarusians sent to the country 373.67 million USD. Thus, compared with 2017, the amount of money transferred to the country in 2018 decreased by 12.75%.

The average amount transferred from abroad amounted to 287.67 dollars.

At the same time, over the past year, the amount of remittances sent from Belarus totaled 175,014,000 dollars. This is 6.3% more than in 2017, when the figure was 164,568,000.
