The Belarusian woman became a victim of “cleansing of the drunks and the homeless.” At least this was how the young people explained the brutal murder. They often killed random people.
The hearings are currently underway. There are five young men and women aged 19-25 years in the dock. They were detained in 2015. During the first interrogation, they confessed to the crimes.
The 40-year-old Belarusian woman had come to Moscow to earn money for remodelling of her apartment. Her mother Vera Tserashkova told reporters that during the identification she received the head and the body of her daughter separately.
The woman was killed by the 20-year-old Pavel Voitov. The killer stabbed her 44 times. During the investigation, he said that he had killed a “homeless woman”.
“Here I killed a bum. I stopped her near the heating line, I stabbed her twenty times, she slipped into the pit,” Voitov told investigators at the murder scene.
Voitov took part in 14 murders. He said his motives were “hatred of alcoholics and homeless people,” which he considered “biowaste”. He had right-wing views since he was 15. His associates said that he was thinking about a terror attack and constantly spoke “of torture and dismemberment of bodies.”
The jury are to announce the verdict in the next few days.
According to meduza.io, this is not the only group of young men who killed “homeless” people.
