Belarusian woman wanted by Interpol detained in Ukraine

Ukrainian border guards have detained a Belarusian woman, who is wanted by Interpol, border service site reports.

According to TUT.by, the woman in question is Katsyaryna Plisko (Klemmenson). She is the only Belarusian female found in the Interpol database.

Plisko was put in the database by the Danish authorities. The woman is suspected of kidnapping the 3-year-old Eve Klemmenson. She was born in January 2015, and in May the mother left with her daughter. The girl’s father later turned to the police.

Ukrainian border guards informed local bureau of Interpol about the detention and the woman was transferred to the local police.
