Belarusian tries to smuggle 80-year-old Rolls Royce worth 60K euros

The man did not have a special permit for the antique car transportation.

According to EU law,you need to have special documents for a vehicle that costs more than 50K euros and whose age is 75 years old.

The incident occurred in the ‘Kuznitsy’ border point. On his trailer, the man had three cars, which he had bought in the Netherlands: Franklin Airman type 12A made in 1928, Rolls Royce and made in 1937 and a Jaguar made in 1951.

It turned out that the Belarusian had forged documents in the hope that he could cross the border without the required permit.

The 47-year-old man was arrested for falsification of documents. He pleaded guilty and gave an explanation. The border service website does not specify what will happen with the vehicle and if the Belarusian man was fined.
