Victoria Azarenka is in a court battle with her former partner over their son Leo.
A year ago, Victoria announced that she was expecting a baby with her American boyfriend Billy McKeague.
After giving birth to her son, she returned to the tennis world. In summer 2016, the couple broke up, and McKeague filed a lawsuit against Azarenka in the USA. The ex-boyfriend accused the athlete of kidnapping their son. After looking at the documents, the court ruled that the child should return to Los Angeles and as a result kept the baby away from Azarenka.
The Belarusian tennis player is now in court procedures for child custody, tribuna.com reports. Victoria hired a local LA attorney, as well as well-known Israeli family lawyer Zeev Welner.
The trial will presumably be held in Belarus.
