The U.S. dollar jumped Br 1,103 to 21,564 Belarusian rubles at today’s trading on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange in Minsk.
The euro went up by Br 1,388 rubles to 23,779 Belarusian rubles.
The Russian ruble increased Br 3.27 and reached 260.24.
Trades are still in progress; the dollar are the euro continue growing.
For two hours the dollar rate has Br 1,700 risen in banks; they started selling the dollar at Br 22,000.
A week ago the National Bank of Belarus made public the new dollar exchange rate of Br 19,514.
In mid December Belsat TV interviewed the residents of Brest who predicted the dollar rise to 25-30K Br in a year:
