Belarusian band to pay fine for two fans with white-red-white flag


The band decided to help Ivan Lisavets and Zmitser Navumenka. They were fined 10 basic units (230 BYN), because they had flown a white-red-white flag during at “Krambambulya” band performance in Minsk, the band wrote on Facebook.



Ivan Lisavets and Zmitser Navumenka were detained and charged with “hooliganism” on 5 August, 2017. After the concert, they did not come home. The men with a flag were detained by the police and spent the night at a Minsk police station. On August 7, during the court hearing, the police claimed that Navumenka “was waving his arms, using foul language, and he was also drunk”.
