Belarusian blogger Ulad Maha flees to Armenia

In his new video the blogger Ulad Maha (Uladzislau Mausesau) told his followers he was in Armenia under the protection of the authorities.

On July 14, on his YouTube channel, the Belarusian video blogger with Armenian roots Uladzislau Mausesau published an appeal in which he said that his life could be in danger. According to him, Azerbaijan declared him wanted because he made a video blog about Azerbaijan and visited Nagorno-Karabakh. Mausesau claims that after the publication of this video, he began to receive threats. For security reasons, the blogger left Belarus.

Recently, on his YouTube channel, Ulad Maha posted another video, in which he said that he was in Armenia.

This was confirmed by the post of Armenian political scientist, expert in information security Tigran Kocharyan.

“With Vladislav Movsesov (Vlad Maga), the author of the sensational video about the neighboring state, everything is already good, alive and well and quite well-fed,” Kocharian wrote.

Ulad Maha claims that unknown people started inquiring about him at his place of residence.

“They just came to my neighborhood, in my town and went to ask people if they knew Uladzislau Mausesau, where his friends live, where his relatives live,” he said in the video.

At the same time, according to 1news.az, the spokesman for the Armenian Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan said that Yerevan expects Belarus to take steps to protect the security of the Belarusian blogger of Armenian descent “who, he said, is at risk” after a visit to Azerbaijan.

At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan reacted to the situation.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and the special services of this country are in such a desperate situation that they have already begun to cooperate with clowns. As for some blogger, it seems that he suffers from megalomania. We do not have time to deal with such non-serious matters,” said the head of the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Hikmet Hajiyev.

There is no official information about the Belarusian blogger being on the official wanted list.
