Belarusian band 'Shuma' wants to perform at 'Eurovision' and asks for support

The musicians have applied for participation in the local competition. ‘Shuma’ band members note that they do not have a producer, and it’s unrealistic to get selected without public support.

“If you want to join the advertising flood campaign, PM us. For example, you can make a sticker, or help with target advertisements, make newsletters, distribute CDs on the radio, help us with creative activities, or write about us on your portal or blog — we will be happy! ” the band wrote on Facebook.

Applications for the national selection will be accepted until December 26.

‘Shuma’ is a group that has managed to unite two incompatible worlds — modern electronics and old folk songs. You can hear their music in clubs, at techno parties, in shopping malls, McDonald’s and trains.

The group took part in the “Belsat Music Live” program

This year, “Naviband” took the 17th place on the “Eurovision” contest — it was the first time a Belarusian-language song was played there.
