On the same day, the director of the Vitsebsk National Drama Theatre said that eleven actors had gone on the sick list.

As reported earlier, the Belarusian Interior Ministry banned policemen from leaving and visiting Vitsebsk region and significantly restricted their movements in the country.

As of March 30, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 152. Until now, there has been no official information about coronavirus deaths.

A week ago, Belarusian President Alyaksandr Lukashenka ordered the State Security Committee (KGB) to confront those who are spreading ‘fake information’ about the coronavirus. It is the unofficial information about the death of a woman in Vitsebsk that triggered Lukashenka’s outrage and strong words. According to the Belarusian leader, there was not a coronavirus case, but ‘certain people’ trumpeted her passing away to sow panic and distrust.
