In the finals of the Six Nations Tournament in Budapest, Hungary, Belarus defeated France and won first place, website of the Ice Hockey Federation reports.
The victory in the final match of the Belarusian team was brought by Andrei Kastsitsyn’s double goal and that of Artsiom Dzemkou — 3:2.
Earlier in the tournament, the Belarusian national team defeated Ukraine (4:1) and South Korea (6:5).
As a result, South Koreans became the third in the match for the bronze medal, defeating the Japanese, while the Ukrainians finished last, having lost in the match for the fifth position to the Hungarians.
