It was carried out by the Belarusian environmental NGOs.
World Earth Day was celebrated on April 22 but due to the unfavorable weather the action to clean the river was postponed for a week.
After cleaning the river, the embassy staff headed by Charge d’Affaires Scott Roland participated in the 6-kilometer kayaking on Islach River near Rakau. During the kayaking trip the participants of the action cleaned the banks.
