Over the next two years, Belarus will place government bonds in Russia in the amount of 30 billion Russian rubles (about 466 million US dollars). This is stated in the Belarus Council of Ministers’ decree, which is published in the national legal Internet portal.
“In 2019-2020, the Ministry of Finance intends to sell government securities of the Republic of Belarus in the amount of 30 billion Russian rubles with a maturity of not less than 1,092 days in the territory of the Russian Federation,” the document signed by the Prime Minister Minister Syarhei Rumas reads.
