Russian and Belarusian under-17 hockey players staged a mass brawl during the President’s Sports Club Cup match, the Belarusian Hockey Federation reports.
The clash was triggered by a conflict of Russian guests and Belarusian forwards Fyodar Nikalayenya and Yahor Ihnatsenka.
The vest part of players were involved in the brawl as it started in the course of the line changing.
The Minsk-hosted tournament was won by Russia, Slovakia came second, Belarus took the third place.
