Among 23 countries, Belarus has ranked 13th in the Doing Crypto Index 2018. The rating includes countries that have created the most favorable conditions for developing business projects based on blockchains and cryptocurrencies.
This was announced to Office Life by the head of the index compiler group Andrei Yegorov.
Andrei Egorov explained that the criteria for compiling the index include 3 groups of factors. The first group is the attitude of government agencies and regulators to the blockchain and cryptocurrencies, an assessment of how coordinated they are. The second group includes legal conditions for the development of cryptocurrency and blockchain. The third is the infrastructural conditions for the circulation of cryptocurrency.
During the assessments of Belarus, it turned out that the political and infrastructural conditions in the country for cryptocurrencies are quite good, while legal aspects are characterized by restrictions on the turnover of cryptocurrencies. Most entities are not free to operate with cryptocurrencies.
