Belarus may stop oil supplies via Klaipeda port

The Belarusian side may stop supplying oil products through the port of Klaipeda in response to the sanctions. However, experts believe that such measures will be more critical for Belarus itself.

Earlier, Lukashenka threatened to stop all exports through the ports of the Baltic countries in response to the sanctions. Today the Belarusian Oil Company speaks about the suspension of the export of oil products through the Lithuanian port in Klaipeda. Shipment under previous agreements will continue.

The port in Klaipeda belongs to the company “Klaipedos nafta”, which is waiting for the resumption of supplies from Belarus, but is preparing for any scenario.
