Belarusian president Alyaksandr Lukashenka has signed a decree legalizing online casinos.
The decree will help to minimize the capital outflow to other countries, its authors say. It will limit the Belarusian citizens’ access to online games which are organized outside the national segment of the Internet.
The document also provides for increasing the age of participants in games of chance, including online, from 18 to 21 years. Moreover, gambling houses visitors are prohibited from giving their money to other players; in turn, casino owners are obliged to install indoor surveillance systems.
