Belarus Health Ministry planning to ban smoking on balconies

Belarusian Health Ministry proposes to include balconies and loggias in the list of public places where smoking is prohibited.

It is noted that in view of the numerous citizens’ proposals related to the prohibition of smoking on balconies and loggias of apartment houses, as well as on the adjacent territory of the dwelling houses, the Ministry has initiated the relevant amendments to the draft decree.

This was stated in the Ministry’s reply to the group complaints received by the House of Representatives of the National Assembly and the Ministry of Health, BelTA informs.
