Belarus GDP down 1.7%


In the first half of 2020, the GDP of Belarus amounted to 66.3 billion BYN in current prices. It is 98.3% compared to the first half of 2019, the National Statistics Committee reports.

Thus, the GDP of Belarus decreased by 1.7% within the first six months of 2020. At the same time, industrial production has decreased by 3.1%.

The volume of industrial production in current prices has amounted to 52.9 billion BYN in the first half of the year, or at comparable prices to 96.9% to the level of the first half of 2019.
