The Ministry of Health believes that the coronavirus pandemic in Belarus is entering plateau, Deputy Minister of Health, Alena Bohdan said on the air of the STV channel.
Deputy Minister of Health, Alena Bogdan, said that recently physicians identified approximately the same number of those infected with coronavirus. According to her, the number of registered cases is on average from 8.7 to 9.7% of the number of tests carried out per day.
Alena Bohdan also said that a range of different medicines is used to treat patients with COVID-19. Medics use medicines against malaria, HIV infection and even against arthritis.
As of May 14th, 26,772 cases of coronavirus were registered in Belarus. So far, 151 patients died of COVID-19 related illnesses.
