Numbeo has published an annual rating of the life quality in different countries called Quality of Life Index for Country 2019. In this new rating, Belarus has overtaken Russia and Ukraine, but traditionally lost to all neighboring countries that are members of the European Union.
The first three places in the quality of life rating were taken by Denmark, Switzerland, and Finland, Germany is on the 8th, Japan and the USA — on the 12th and 13th places, respectively. And the last, 71st place, went to Egypt.
Belarus took the 37th place. For comparison: neighboring Lithuania was on the 29th, Latvia — on the 34th, and Poland — on the 35th place.
At the same time, Russia and Ukraine are significantly behind Belarus. The former took the 59th place, and the latter — the 62nd.
