Belarus and Russia agree on compensation for dirty oil


Belarus and Russia have reached an agreement on approaches and methods of compensation for dirty oil, belta.by learned from the government press service.

“Negotiations were held with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Ihar Lyashenka. The parties have reached an agreement on approaches and methods of compensation for dirty oil,” said the press service.

Details of the agreement are not reported.

On April 19, 2019, Belneftekhim announced a sharp deterioration in the quality of Russian Urals oil supplied by Druzhba pipeline. As a result, a number of countries temporarily refused to import Russian oil, coming through Belarus.
