BelaPAN journalist Pavel Dabravolski detained

A journalist for the BelaPAN information company was detained in the afternoon of October 30 in Minsk, Naviny.by reports.

At 12.36 a message “Police in masks are here” was received from him and after that Dabravolski’s cell phone was unavailable and the journalist did not answer in the messenger either.

As BelaPAN was later informed by the official representative of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk city executive committee, Natallia Hanusevich, Dabravolski was taken to the Frunzensky district police department as part of the administrative process. She did not specify under which article of the CAO he was being detained.

According to Hanusevich, “Dabravolski will be kept in temporary detention facilities until the trial.”

It is not reported when the trial will take place.

It was later reported that Dabravolski’s lawyer was not able to locate him at any of the detention centers and filed a missing report.
