The shark hatched from egg, which the Oceanography Center received from the Kaliningrad Museum of the World Ocean.
A baby shark was born in the evening of February 6, in the Minsk-based Oceanography Center “Open Ocean”.
The baby shark got hatched from an egg that was brought from Kaliningrad. Because of this, the fish was named Baltika – it was decided on before the birth.
Now the 9 cm baby shark is living in one of the aquariums.
