During his visit to the United Arab Emirates, Alyaksandr Lukashenka held talks with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum. They discussed the creation of an international financial center in Minsk, the press service of the head of state writes.
The international financial center should emerge in Minsk with the participation of capital from the UAE. The main site for the financial center is the northern shore of Svislach River near the reservoir of Drazdy, writes TUT.BY.

The financial center will become one of the largest facilities in the capital of Belarus. Its area will be up to one thousand hectares. Therefore, changes in the General Plan of Minsk are necessary for its creation. Among other things, to encourage the arrival of large investors, Alyaksandr Lukashenka is signing a decree establishing a preferential tax regime.
Arab investors are now preparing the concept of the complex. It is assumed that the center will be not only a business, entertainment and tourist zone, but also an international exhibition center.
