Animal friendship: Dog tries to save cat hit by car

A cat running across the street was run over by a car not far from the railway station in the Belarusian town of Slutsk.

After the incident, a dog tried to help the casualty, Info-Kurjer reports.

The dog was standing on the road to prevent cars from running into the cat. Drivers had to skirt the animals.

Then the dog pulled the cat aside with the help of teeth and paws and started to lick its wounds. However, the cat died.
