Amphibian vehicle with 12K smuggled cigarette packs found in Lithuania


On November 28, an amphibious vehicle with smuggled cigarettes was found in the swamps located on the Belarusian-Lithuanian frontier.

Not far from the border with Belarus, Lithuanian border guards noticed three cars without drivers. With the help of a service helicopter, in the impassable swamps of the frontier they found an amphibious vehicle with a batch of smuggled cigarettes (12,000 packs of “Korona super slims” of Belarusian production).

The special operation ended with the detention of two Lithuanian citizens who face up to 7 years in prison.
