Airborne Forces Day in Moscow: NTV reporter punched in face live

Nikita Razvozzhayev, a journalist of the state-controlled TV station NTV, was hit in the face when he was on the air reporting from Gorky Park in Moscow, where Russian paratroopers celebrate their professional holiday every year.

Caution! Foul language

Shortly before the incident, the journalist was telling about their traditions, but one of those present was apparently in no mood. He got into a rage after the reporter had asked him to hold the tongue, smashed a fist in Razvozzhayev’s face and threw obscenities.

The attacker has been detained.

On August 2, paratroopers of some post-Soviet countries, including Belarus, mark Airborne Forces Day. Many of them follow the tradition by swimming and bathing in fountains.
