Agreement on joint visas for Belarus and Russia ready

The agreement between Belarus and Russia on mutual recognition of visas depends on the decisions of the two heads of state, Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota said at a scientific conference in Moscow on December 10.

The official noted that the agreement on mutual recognition of visas is ready. It remains only to put the final points at the level of heads of state, BelTA informs.

Rapota also touched upon the abolition of roaming between Belarus and Russia. According to him, the issue is in the interests of telecom operators.

“Of course, business interests must be taken into account,” said the Secretary of State.

Earlier, it was reported that the document on the abolition of roaming between Belarus and Russia may be signed until September 15 — that is, almost three months ago.
