+733 over past day: COVID-19 cases growing

On October 21 the Belarusian Health Ministry updated information on the coronavirus situation in the country.

To date, Belarusian health professionals have registered 89,642 persons infected with the novel coronavirus; 733 new cases have been confirmed in the past 24 hours, 4 COVID-19 deaths have been reported.

“For the entire period of the spread of the infection in the country, 941 patients who were previously tested positive for the coronavirus have died; they had chronic and co-existing illnesses,” the statement reads.

80,905 patients who were diagnosed with COVID-19 have already recovered. By the moment, 2,267,862 tests for detecting the virus have been conducted in Belarus.
