Belarusian oil refineries have lost $80 million because of the Western sanctions, said Deputy Prime Minister Yury Nazarau, BelTA informs.
During a joint session of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic, Deputy Prime Minister Yury Nazarau touched upon the issue of Western sanctions and the impact of restrictive measures on the Belarusian economy.
“Unfortunately, we understand that the sanctions situation is for a long time, and it can be sensitive to the economy of our country in the future. Let me give you an example: the losses of just our oil refineries over the sanctions have already amounted to $80 million,” said Yury Nazarau.
Brussels is currently working on the fifth package of sanctions against the Belarusian regime.
