Viktar Babaryka, a former banker, was leading in the polls before the 2020 presidential election. After his arrest, his headquarters united with those of Tsapkala and Tsikhanouskaya. Tsikhanouskaya won the election in the first round. Viktar and Eduard Babaryka have remained behind bars for five years.
