At the start of trading on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, the U.S. dollar exceeded 3 BYN. The currency has appreciated by about 10%. The euro is approaching 3.4 BYN. At the same time, even the Russian ruble rate is growing.
Moreover, the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange website is down. Some Internet pages with financial information in Belarus are not available. The site of the Moscow Stock Exchange of Russia is also unavailable.
The National Bank informs that the refinancing rate will increase 12% per annum from March 1. Now it is 9.25%.
