Belarusians have launched a petition for adding the white-red-white flag to the emoji bank as an alternative to the state flag of Belarus: it has already collected almost 45 thousand signatures.
The authors of the petition do not demand changing the emoji with the red-green state flag of Belarus, believing that such a move could lead to problems for companies with the current Belarusian authorities and serve as a reason for discord in society. The authors only want to add the WRW flag as a variant of the regional flag.

After the collection of signatures is completed, the authors intend to apply with a proposal to add the emoji to the companies that develop emoji sets: Twitter, Google, MS, Samsung, Apple.
