Over 1.5K migrants return to Iraq from Belarus

Citizens of Iraq, who were brought to Belarus during the migration crisis artificially created by the Lukashenka’s regime, are gradually returning home.

The other night, another plane left Minsk for Erbil. According to the Iraqi side, 420 people returned to their homeland by this plane.

A total of four evacuation flights of Iraqi airlines brought home 1,458 Iraqi citizens, reports the press service of Iraqi Airways on Facebook.

According to the data from the Minsk National Airport, two more evacuation flights to Iraq are scheduled for November 28 and 29.

Lukashenka’s press secretary Natallya Eismant previously stated that there were only about 7,000 refugees on the territory of Belarus as of November 18.
