Rapper Morgenshtern has left Russia after the head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, accused him of drug trafficking, Gazeta.ru writes, citing the telegram channel Oper Slil.
On November 24, Morgenshtern was allegedly seen with his wife and a security guard in Smolensk as they got on the Moscow-Minsk train. However, Morgenshtern had no concerts in Smolensk scheduled.
The head of the Russian Investigative Committee recently accused the rapper of drug dealing in social networks. Morgenshtern’s lawyer Sergei Zhorin said that he could neither confirm nor deny the information about his client’s departure and that he feared pressure from the Investigative Committee on Morgenstern.
