New Zealand cuts diplomatic relations with Lukashenka's regime

The NAM Telegram channel reports that the National Anti-Crisis Management (NAM) head Pavel Latushka recently received a letter from New Zealand Foreign Minister Nanaia Mahuta.

In the letter, the Minister said that New Zealand has a long-standing policy of not accepting official acts of recognition by governments. However, Nanaia Mahuta stresses that New Zealand has suspended high-level bilateral political relations with Belarus, including at the level of embassies of the two countries. Also, New Zealand has placed more than 70 people associated with the regime, including Alyaksandr Lukashenka, on a sanctions list.
