Belarusian human rights activists have added six more names to the list of political prisoners. There are now 817 people on the list.
Among the political prisoners that have been charged, imprisoned or sentenced:
Hanna Baran and Andrei Kudzik charged under part 1 of article 342 of the Criminal Code (“Group actions that grossly violate public order”);
Yakau Yakautseu — under part 1 of article 342, article 368 (“Insulting the President”) and article 369 (“Insulting a representative of the authorities”) of the Criminal Code;
Stanislau Filimonau and Stsyapan Drozdz — under part 2 of article 293 (“Mass disorderly conduct”) of the Criminal Code.
Also, under Article 342 of the Criminal Code (“Group actions, grossly violating public order”) there were charged Alyaksei Spirydonau. He was sent to a penal institution after being sentenced to three years for messages in Telegram chats.
