Disbarred Belarusian lawyer Hashynski receives license in Russia

Belarusian lawyer Anton Hashynski, who defended journalist Andrei Alyaksandrau and Russians Yegor Dudnikov and Sofia Sapiega, has received the status of a lawyer in Russia. Earlier in Belarus, his license was revoked, reports “Novaya Gazeta.”

Lawyer Anton Hashynski passed the qualification exam, was sworn in by the Bar Association of the Moscow region, and received the status of a lawyer in Russia. Now the lawyer will represent the interests of Russian citizens Yegor Dudnikov and Sofia Sapega, arrested in Belarus.

On July 14, the lawyer’s license was revoked in Belarus. Apart from the interests of Russian citizens, Anton Hashynski also defended the journalist Andrei Alyaksandrau.
