The U.S.has expanded the sanctions list to include 16 individuals and five entities, the U.S. Treasury Department said.
There are 21 personal or collective entities on the U.S. list, which has expanded sanctions against Belarusian officials. The United States has imposed restrictive measures on Mikalai Karpyankou, Svyatlana Katsuba, Alyaksandr Lasyakin, Ihar Plysheuski, Maryna Rakhmanaava, Alyaksandr Astreika, Volha Darashenka, Natallia Eismant, Andrei Hurzhiya, Mikhail Hryb, Natallia Kachanava, Syarhei Kalinouski, Andrei Shved, Iryna Tselikavets, Ivan Tsertsel, and Syarhei Zubkou.
As for organizations, the list includes KGB, Internal Troops, Department of Internal Affairs of Brest Regional Executive Committee, TDF in Akrestsin street, and GUBOPiK (anti-crime unit).
Canada, the UK, and Ukraine have joined the sanctions.
