Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya recently said that the EU sanctions were joined by Canada, the UK, Ukraine, and the United States. According to the politician, the fifth package of the EU sanctions should be considered as soon as possible. Tsikhanouskaya voiced this statement during a press conference at the Embassy of Lithuania in Brussels, reports the correspondent of Belsat.
The U.S., Canada, Britain, and Ukraine have also joined the EU sanctions. At the same time, the EU intends to introduce the fifth package of restrictive measures against Lukashenka’s regime as soon as possible. Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya said that she had discussed the fifth package of sanctions with Josep Borrell in the morning.
The politician said that the wood processing sector would not fall under the future EU sanctions, but “potash and oil would be very painful as it is.”
