Brussels: Belarusian diaspora meets with Tsikhanouskaya, stages performances (photo report)

On Monday evening, Belarusians held some events in the vicinity of Brussels-based key buildings of the European Union – the European Parliament and the Council of the EU.

The representatives of the Belarusian diaspora sent best wishes to the Belarusian political prisoners who have their birthdays in June. Later, the participants took turns reading the names of 501 prisoners of conscience. They also staged live art performances showing the detention of Belarusian women and the arrest of journalist Raman Pratasevich.

As reported earlier, Svyatlana Tsikhanouskaya is visiting Brussels and Luxembourg at the invitation of HR/VP Josep Borrell. On June 21, she discussed the fifth sanctions package against the Lukashenka regime with the head of the EU diplomacy.
