Employees of 181 Belarusian plants report pressure over signature collection 'against EU sanctions'

Information about pressure and intimidation of workers has been collected by People’s Crisis Management and ‘Honest People’ initiative using chatbots.

According to the results of the survey, where employees of 300 companies took part, 181 of them recorded cases of pressure. All in all 899 workers reported pressure from the management during the collection of signatures under the letter of the official trade unions “against EU sanctions”.

Most often, employees were threatened with withholding of bonuses and dismissal. They were psychologically pressured and deceived (the meaning of the appeal was distorted or they were asked to sign blank forms) for not signing the appeal.

People’s Crisis Management and ‘Honest People’ initiative plan to send the collected evidence to the International Labor Protection Organization.
