Polish Prime Minister: We cannot take the liberty to accept annexation of Crimea

International community will never approve of the annexation of Crimea, Polish PM Donald Tusk said.

‘From my perspective, it is crucial that European and Euro-Atlantic communities should not yield to Putin’s current pressure, no incentive should even appear. De facto Ukraine has lost Crimea, but we must make an agreement with Russia somehow,’ Mr Tusk said.

Other politicians also called not to fall for the Kremlin’s provocations. EU Commissioner Stefan Fule put forward the idea of admitting Ukraine as a member of the EU.

Today the G8 has suspended Russia’s participation in this organisation.
