Sociologist Tatsyana Vadalazhskaya released after 10 days in custody


Sociologist, coordinator of the Flying University and member of the Coordinating Council, Tatsyana Vadalazhskaya has been released after 10 days of detention over a criminal case.

Tatsyana was detained on August 4: police came to her house for a search and then detained her.

The day after the detention, it was reported that Tatsyana Vadalazhskaya was detained for 10 days under a criminal article, the details of which are still unknown.

It is likely that Tatsyana remains a suspect and has been released on her own recognizance not to leave.

On the same day, the methodologist and philosopher Uladzimir Matskevich was detained. His home was also searched by the KGB. Matskevich is still being detained on criminal charges.

Also, the search was conducted in the house of Ulad Vyalichka, Uladzimir Matskevich’s associate, former head of EuroBelarus. KGB officers also came to him and took away all the equipment. But after 12 hours of detention Vyalichka was released.
