Dzmitry Dosau, the director of IT company Aivitam, has been detained, pro-Lukashenka Telegram channels report.

Security forces must have forced him to repent on camera. In the so called repentant video published by propagandists, he says that he was subscribed to an ‘extremist’ Telegram channel, shared its posts, and posted a video of the 2020 protests on his Facebook page.

Human rights activists have no information when the Aivitam director was detained and where he is being held now, according to DEV.by.

Dzmitry Dosau is a venture investor and IT entrepreneur. He was the CEO and co-founder of Humansee Labs and the founder of The Heroes Media. In 2019 he was one of the organisers of Seedstars World, a qualifying competition of startups in Minsk.

Over the last few days, several representatives of large private Belarusian companies have been detained for dissent (Dzyanis Nasura, chief business analyst of EPAM in Belarus; Syarhei Babashkou, head of the marketing department of Hyundai AvtoGrad; Mikalai Bredzeleu, head of the public relations department of A1 Belarus). All this was accompanied by public mockery, insults, and violation of detainees’ privacy.
