Poland denies entering air space of Belarus

The Operations Command of Poland has refuted reports of the Belarus Defense Ministry about the Belarusian air border violation. The Defense Ministry of Belarus earlier said that the other night Poland violated the airspace of Belarus. Warsaw, in turn, argues that there were no flights near the border on April 12.

Poland says there were no flights near the Polish-Belarusian border on April 12.

“Constant monitoring of airspace is carried out. Military aircraft did not perform any flights near the state border between Poland and Belarus on the evening of April 12 this year,” the Polish Armed Forces Operational Command said on Twitter.

Ministry of Defense of Belarus said that the other night at 20:45, an unidentified aircraft violated Belarus’s state border from the direction of Poland and then returned to the Polish territory. The Defense Ministry even summoned an attaché to the Polish embassy and demanded to arrange an investigation and inform Belarus about its results.
