After giving out its results on February 14, 2012 it was announced that she would represent the Republic of Belarus at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, Azerbaijan. However, it was declared that her victory in viewer poll had been won by chicane. As a result of the investigation, Lanskaya was disqualified on February 22, 2012. Musical band Litesound was then chosen to replace her but their song failed to progress from the second semi-final into the final.
