Two Belarusian startups hit top 100 innovative startups of Europe


The leading matchmaking platform for finding partners for startups and investors in Central and Eastern Europe, Vestbee, has published the Top 100 Innovative Startups in Europe list. The rating includes businesses shortlisted for the European Startup Challenge.

Two Belarusian projects have made the rating. They are GoodStyle and Lingvanex, thinktanks.by reports.

GoodStyle is a startup that created a virtual fitting room in app format. It was created by the Belarusian company VIP IT. The company is working on artificial intelligence solutions that will make online shopping more efficient and less time-consuming.

The application allows you to get an idea of ​​how this or that thing from the catalogs of online stores will look on the buyer, as well as combine it with other goods or even items already in the user’s wardrobe.

The startup signed its first contract with local brands in Ukraine. Among its partners are Lamoda and Aliexpress. In total, the application had about 55,000 users as of last summer.

Lingvanex is a technology startup focused on providing machine translation using neural network technology. It allows you to translate written texts, speech, texts on images, phone calls, documents into more than 80 languages. The project is available on any platform and will be useful for business, education, travel, learning foreign languages.

Last year, the project took first place in the startup battle Venture Day Minsk and received Google Cloud Credits for $100,000. At the end of 2020, Lingvanex reached 2 million transfers per day with 400,000 users.
